The Bronze Medallion Award teaches an understanding of lifesaving principles embodied in the four components of water rescue education: judgement, knowledge, skill, and fitness. The Bronze Cross Award is designed for lifesavers who want the challenge of more advanced training, including an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities.
The Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses are taking place March 22/23 and March 29/30 from 10am-6pm at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.
To register for Bronze Medallion you must have your Bronze Star or be at least 13 years old.
To register for Bronze Cross you must have your Bronze Medallion.
