Participants will leave with:
• A basic foundation of climate science & climate change knowledge
• Indigenous perspectives on climate change & climate solutions
• An understanding of the root causes of climate change & the role Indigenous knowledge has in Mother Earth's survival
• Awareness of the impacts of human economic activity on Mother Earth
• Insight on the impacts climate change has on life on Mother Earth• Understanding the connection between climate change & health of Indigenous people, communities & Nations
• Knowledge of legal mechanisms used to undermine Indigenous sovereignty
• Examples of real climate solution projects at community and national levels
• How climate change is impacting our rights as Indigenous peoples
