Sagamok’s Planning & Infrastructure (P&I) Department is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure, including roads, water, sanitation, and band-owned buildings. They are also responsible for emergency management, including the fire department, as well as planning and managing large capital projects. One major change to Sagamok’s P&I Department during the 2024-2025 fiscal year was the separation of Housing, which now operates as an independent department, complete with a dedicated director as well as oversight and contribution from Council’s Housing Working Group.
