My name is Allison Owl and I am happy and excited to introduce myself as a Mental Health Worker within my home community of Sagamok Anishnawbek. I am a mother of six children.  My greatest gifts are my three sons and my three daughters. I was very young when I realized that I wanted to work in the helping field, advocating for children, families and communities.  In order to do so, I chose the field of Child and Youth Worker, as well as Social Work. My previous work experience has been with Child Welfare, Mental Health and Addictions, as well as the School System in Greater Sudbury. I feel these opportunities have provided me with the skills necessary to be an effective helper within the Mental Health and Addictions Team. I look forward to working with you all, and being a part of the healing process taking place here in Sagamok.
