Quaker brand granola bars and cereals and Cap'n Crunch brand Treat Bars – Berry Bar recalled due to Salmonella

Quaker brand granola bars and cereals and Cap'n Crunch brand Treat Bars (Berry Bar) have been recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination. Please find a list of affected products here. Check to see if you have any of the recalled products and if you do, discard them or return them to the location where they were purchased; do not consume.

Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make people sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Individuals are advised to contact their health care provider or seek medical attention if they think they became sick from consuming a recalled product.
