Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Eligible Electors of Sagamok Anishnawbek, was held in the Multi Educational Centre (4008 Espaniel Road, Sagamok Anishnawbek, ON) on JULY 5, 2024, AT 3:00 PM and lasting for at least FOUR (4) HOURS, for the purpose of nominating candidates for the offices of ONE (1) Chief and TWELVE (12) Councillors for the next ensuing term.

PRELIMINARY LIST ONLY - TO BE FINALIZED BY 8:00 PM JULY 8, 2024 AND ALL NOMINEES MUST FILL OUT A FORM TO ACCEPT THEIR NOMINATION NO LATER THAN JULY 8, 2024 AT 6:00 PM. IF YOU NEED HELP YOU CAN ALSO SEND THE FORMS FROM THE BAND OFFICE ON MONDAY BEFORE 4:30 PM.

Reminder: To be included on the ballot and become a candidate, persons nominated must submit to the Electoral Officer a written Acceptance and Declaration Form by no later than 6:00pm on Monday, July 8th, 2024. Candidate Packages including the Acceptance and Declaration Form can be downloaded from the website www.onefeather.ca/nations/sagamok at any point leading up to the July 8th, 2024 deadline.
