Severe Weather Advisory-Freezing Drizzle

Please be advised that Environment Canada has issued a Severe Weather Alert – Freezing Drizzle for our area, including Sagamok Anishnawbek.

Freezing drizzle may result in icy roadways, sidewalks, and parking lots, creating hazardous travel conditions and an increased risk of slips and falls. Visibility may also be reduced at times.

• Use caution when traveling
• Allow extra time for commuting
• Wear appropriate footwear to prevent slips and falls
• Check on Elders and vulnerable community members
• Avoid unnecessary travel if conditions worsen
