Little NHL 2026 – Markham, ON

Seeking all interested players, coaches and managers for Sagamok Anishnawbek Little NHL 2026 Hockey Teams

Purpose:

To establish a list of interested players, coaches and bench staff for all divisions and categories (girls, recreational and competitive) to support the management and coordination of teams and to support funding applications for LNHL 2026.
‍

LNHL age divisions include:

• U7 (2019, 2020, 2021)

• U9 (2017, 2018) girls, recreation, competitive

• U11 (2015, 2016) girls, recreation, competitive

• U13 (2013, 2014) girls, recreation, competitive

• U15 (2011, 2012) girls, recreation, competitive

• U18 (2008, 2009, 2010) girls, recreation, competitive

*Cannot guarantee that we will have a team in every age division or category. Releases may be provided for players if Sagamok does not have a team in their age division or category.

Player Requirements:

• Meets the age division requirements

• Enrolled in organized hockey in the 2025/26 season (or prepared to pay for required insurance)

• At least one parent has a status card from a First Nation in Ontario (1 parent rule - player does not require a status card)
