Dear Applicants and Community Partners,
The CORDA Committee would like to advise all applicants and First Nations organizations that the deadline for the 2027-2028 CORDA application intake has been extended.
In recognition of the ongoing wildfire situation across Northern Ontario this summer, and the significant impacts these exceptional circumstances have had on many First Nations communities and organizations, the CORDA Committee has approved an extension to this year's application deadline.
The new application deadline is:
Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT
While we recognize that not all communities have been directly impacted by the wildfires, we hope this extension provides additional flexibility for all applicants and supports those experiencing disruptions during this time.
