(Biidaaban and Daycare can attend the presentation from 3:30-4:30pm the same day).
The Autism presentation will review the definition of neurodivergence and Autism. We will then break down the characteristics of Autism:
- Sensory Processing
- Repetitive Behaviours
- Motor Skills
- Social Awareness
- Verbal & Nonverbal Communication
- Executive Function
There will be a look at Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and some strategies to support an individual in the home and ending with remembering to care for the caregiver.
