Answer general questions about benefits and credits you may be eligible for, such as Canada Child Benefit (CCB), Canada Workers Benefit (CWB), Disability Tax Credit (DTC), GST/HST credit and more. Help find free tax clinics while explaining the importance of filing your income tax on a yearly basis. Have access to a Client Assistance Referral and Enquiry Service (CARES) line. It is a phone service that offers a seamless and compassionate assistance to vulnerable taxpayers that will improve access to benefits and credits you may be eligible for. You will need government issued ID and know your SIN number to verify your identity. You can find out if you may have missed filing an income tax return within the last 10 years, update personal information such as address, marital status and direct deposit!
