Due to heavy freezing rain and rapid ice accretion the roads department is having difficulty keeping up with the ice - as a result it is recommended to stay home for the remainder of the day unless you have essential travel requirements. If you go on the roads, drive slow, prepare for icy conditions, and exercise extreme caution.
