As of March 1st, half load restrictions are in effect in Sagamok Anishnawbek.
During this period, vehicle weight is restricted to 5 tonnes per axle to help prevent damage to roads during the spring thaw.
These restrictions will remain in place until the half load period is lifted, which is expected to occur in April or mid-May, depending on road conditions and weather.
