Hydro One - Biology Program Training Opportunity

Hydro One, in collaboration with Waasmoowin Energy Inc., are proud to offer training opportunities for interested community members.

Training modules will cover methodologies, survey protocols, equipment, and data processing being conducted for the project in the following areas:

• Wildlife (amphibians/reptiles, birds, bats)

• Fish and Fish Habitat

• Vegetation Communities and Botany

This training will also offer opportunities for participants to collaborate with the project team to share Anishinabek knowledge on species of interest, practices, and cultural understandings/protocols.

Training modules will include virtual/online as well as in-person field training. Participants completing the modules will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Dates and locations will be determined based on community interest.
