A bear with an injured front paw has been observed around the Sagamok Point area. If you encounter this bear, please notify Lands and Resource Department or Community Safety and By-Law.
Attempts are being made to find a way to capture the bear and bring it to a sanctuary, but this is proving difficult due to lack of sanctuaries in our area
If attempts fail, then nature will take its course with the bear.
