The Metagama Road Bridge over the East Branch of the Spanish River will be closed and impassable during October while the deck is being replaced.
Repairs are expected to begin in early October and the project is expected to last for 2-3 weeks. Metagama Road will remain open up to both sides of the bridge, but the bridge itself will not be passable during this time. Signs will be posted during this time at the junction of West Branch and Metagama Road as well as Hwy 144 and Metagama Road.
Please take this into consideration if you plan to travel in the area.
