Heirlooms of History: Fort La Cloche Belongings
Pathways to Reclamation: The La Cloche Cataloguing, Learning, and Sharing Project Exhibition
We are very pleased to share that Reconnecting — Awakening | Heirlooms of History: Fort La Cloche Belongings will be back on display this summer at the Massey Area Museum!
Opening on May 8th from 10am to 4pm with an elder's prayer and opening remarks from 11am to noon; the third showing of this exhibit will provide visitors and community members an additional opportunity to view the belongings in this collection while also getting a sense of the community connecting efforts that this project enabled.
With the return of this exhibit for public viewing, we hope audience members are able to learn a little more about local history, see the importance of community-led initiatives to help community engage with ancestral belongings — and be inspired too.
