Sagamok Fire Department Back in Service

A Message from the Acting Fire Chief's Desk

The Sagamok Fire Department is pleased to announce that we are officially back in service and ready to respond to emergencies within our community.

Over the past year, our department has worked diligently to strengthen our emergency response capabilities. Significant improvements have been made, including upgrading firefighting equipment, replacing and enhancing firefighter personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring all fire apparatus and equipment have been fully inspected, tested, and serviced to meet operational standards.

Our firefighters remain committed to continuous learning and professional development. Fire personnel continue to train toward achieving their NFPA Firefighter Level I & II certifications, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide safe and effective emergency response.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteer firefighters, the continued support of Chief and Council, and the patience and encouragement of our community throughout this journey.

Your Sagamok Fire Department is committed to protecting lives, property, and our community through professionalism, teamwork, training, and service.
