Sagamok Anishnawbek is inviting community members to join the Transmission Line Projects Working Group. If you have an interest in our community and the transmission line projects, we encourage you to apply.
The purpose of this Working Group is to provide a forum for open communication and collaboration between community representatives and the project team.
As a member of the Transmission Line Projects Working Group, you will have the opportunity to:
- Receive regular updates on the planning and construction of the transmission line projects.
- Review and discuss environmental monitoring reports and other project-related information.
- Share community perspectives, questions, and concerns regarding project activities and potential impacts.
- Provide advice and recommendations to help improve communication and support ongoing engagement throughout the project.
Your participation and knowledge are important to this process, and we value the perspectives and experiences that members will bring to the Working Group.
Meetings will be held on a regular basis, with the schedule and format determined in consultation with Working Group members.
To recognize members' time, expertise, and participation, honoraria will be provided in accordance with the Working Group's participation guidelines. Reasonable travel and related expenses, where applicable, will also be reimbursed.
