Robinson Huron Waawiindamaagewin (RHW) is preparing the next issue of Treaty Times Magazine, scheduled for release in Summer 2026.
This edition will continue to highlight the strength, resilience, and creativity of communities across the Robinson Huron Treaty territory and we would like your community’s stories to be part of it.
We are reaching out to invite contributions from your community’s writers, photographers, and storytellers. Our goal is to feature content that is community-driven and reflective of local voices, perspectives, and priorities. Contributors may be community members, staff, youth, Elders, or local artists and knowledge keepers.

- Land-based education programs and community initiatives
- Interesting people doing interesting things
- Community champions, advocates, educators, leaders, and grassroots organizers
- New businesses and projects
- Community-owned enterprises, economic development initiatives, and innovative projects
- Member-owned businesses making an impact locally or beyond

Compensation & Format
- Freelance rates will apply to all published stories and photography.
- Contributions can range from short profiles and Q&As to feature-length articles or photo essays.
- If you already have existing content (articles, newsletters, photos, or social media posts) that could be adapted for the magazine, we are happy to work with that as well.
We would greatly appreciate your support in:
- Sharing this call with potential writers, photographers, and storytellers in your community
- Suggesting possible story ideas or people to profile
- Helping to coordinate local interviews or photo opportunities, if needed
