Angus Toulouse, a member of Sagamok Anishnawbek, has a wealth of experience, having been in Senior Leadership and Politics for over 30 years.  He held the elected position of Chief for Sagamok Anishnawbek for 11 years before being elected to the position of Ontario Regional Chief by the Chiefs of Ontario in 2005.  Angus served two consecutive terms in this role for seven years before moving on to be the Chief Executive Officer of the North Shore Tribal Council.  He has been elected back into the role of Chief for Sagamok Anishnawbek, and continues to work tirelessly to support and advocate for Sagamok and First Nations rights and jurisdiction through his work as Chair of the North Shore Tribal Council, Trustee to the Robinson Huron Treaty Litigation Management Committee, Chair of the First Nations with Schools Collective Chiefs Committee, as well as numerous other Boards and Committees.
